An international Conference on Deaf education will take place on the 24th of June at the University of Edinburgh. The theme of the conference is “Aiming higher for deaf students – What works? What could work?“

On the 24th of March an interview-article about the present situation and challenges of the Estonian Deaf education was released in the local teacher`s newspaper Õpetajate Leht. Answers to journalist Tiina Vapper`s questions were given by Tiit Papp (the head of the board of the Estonian Deaf Union) and Raili Loit (the member of the board of the Estonian Association of Teachers of Hearing Impaired Children).
